Hon. Oche Isaac Anyebe is emerging as one of the notable young political figures seeking to redefine public service through a blend of leadership experience, entrepreneurship, and community-focused representation.

His leadership journey dates back to his years at the University of Lagos (UNILAG), where he distinguished himself through student activism and organizational development. While studying at the institution, he founded the National Union of Benue State Students (NUBESS), an association created to promote the welfare, unity, and advancement of students of Benue origin.

In what many alumni still regard as a landmark initiative, Anyebe pioneered the first-ever Benue Week on the UNILAG campus. The event attracted business leaders, politicians, academics, students, and members of the public, providing a platform for celebrating Benue culture, fostering networking opportunities, and promoting the state’s heritage beyond its borders.

His commitment to democratic values and ethical leadership earned him recognition within the university community. The Faculty of Arts Students’ Association (FASA) appointed him as a member of its Electoral Committee, a responsibility that later culminated in his emergence as Chairman of the committee. Under his leadership, the committee successfully conducted elections widely regarded as free, fair, transparent, and credible.

Beyond electoral administration, Anyebe also contributed to institutional reforms within the university environment. As a member of the Historical Society of Nigeria Constitution Review Committee, UNILAG Chapter, he worked alongside other committee members to draft and present a workable constitution designed to strengthen the operations and governance structure of the department.

Outside campus politics and leadership engagements, Hon. Oche Isaac Anyebe has built a successful career in business. He currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of a shipping and logistics company, bringing over a decade of operational experience in one of the country’s critical economic sectors. His background in enterprise management has shaped his understanding of job creation, investment opportunities, and sustainable economic growth.

As he seeks to represent the people of Ado State Constituency, Anyebe says his vision is anchored on quality representation and people-oriented leadership. His agenda places education at the forefront, with commitments to expanding access to quality learning opportunities, improving educational infrastructure, and ensuring that no child is denied education because of financial constraints.

A major component of his educational plan includes scholarship and bursary schemes targeted at indigent students, aimed at supporting academically gifted youths and reducing barriers to higher education.

Recognizing the growing importance of technology in modern society, he has also identified ICT development and digital literacy as strategic priorities. His vision includes creating opportunities for young people to acquire digital skills capable of improving employability and competitiveness in an increasingly technology-driven world.

Teacher welfare and professional development equally occupy a central place in his agenda. He believes that strengthening educational outcomes begins with investing in teachers through training, motivation, and improved working conditions.

Healthcare remains another critical pillar of his proposed representation. He advocates for expanded access to healthcare services, particularly maternal and child healthcare programmes, with the goal of improving health outcomes across communities within the constituency.

Hon. Anyebe has also pledged support for women and women-led initiatives, emphasizing the need for policies and programmes that promote economic inclusion, empowerment, and equal opportunities.

In his vision for an inclusive society, persons living with disabilities and the elderly are identified as priority groups deserving targeted interventions and support systems that enhance their quality of life and social participation.

Housing development is another area of focus. He has expressed support for affordable housing initiatives designed to assist low and middle-income earners, including improved access to mortgage facilities and housing support programmes.

Youth empowerment and entrepreneurship development form a significant aspect of his agenda. Drawing from his experience as an entrepreneur, Anyebe believes that sustainable economic growth can only be achieved when young people are equipped with skills, opportunities, and resources necessary to create wealth and employment.

At the legislative level, he promises to champion quality representation through responsive lawmaking, effective oversight, and policies that directly improve the welfare of constituents.

Supporters describe him as a bridge-builder whose leadership style combines accessibility, innovation, and a commitment to service. As political activities continue to gather momentum across Ado State Constituency, many observers believe his blend of student leadership experience, business expertise, and community-focused agenda positions him as a contender seeking to offer a new approach to representation.

For many residents, the central question will be whether his vision can translate into practical solutions capable of addressing the educational, economic, healthcare, and social challenges facing the constituency. What remains clear, however, is that Hon. Oche Isaac Anyebe is presenting himself as a candidate whose message is rooted in quality representation, inclusive development, and opportunities for all.
