Terrorists Sympathizer in Northern Nigeria—Mr Gumi is responsible for whatever he said and preaches on terrorism, and not speaking on behalf of Nigerian Muslims.
Gumi is a self acclaimed muslim who’s not perfect as other Muslims “except Muhammad S.A.W, but his religion “Islam” is absolutely perfect, if Gumi misbehave and goes against humanity tagging the religion—kindly judge him, but not his religion, because my religion islam teaches us better to love and stand for humanity.
Islam is a religion of peace and compassion, as such, Gumi’s ignorance should not be attached to Islam, because his knowledge is outdated and doesn’t go inline with Islamic teaches.
Nobody should blame people of their personal crimes against humanity, because, their religion doesn’t support and gives direction to their personal lifestyles, as some behaves and act ignorantly out of their tribal mentality and societal upbringing.
It’s evident that Islam teaches peace and love among the people to protect humanity, but few tends to act’s ignorantly, hides under the religion banner for guardian and protection.
Religion should make us kinder not bitter. If your faith leads you to disrespect, mock or hate others, then the issue isn’t the religion, it’s you personally—We can believe differently and still live peacefully. Humanity should come before doctrine.
Nigerian Muslims should desists and distance ourselves from Gumi’s religious activities, as it doesn’t stand well with Islamic ways of teaching and Gumi is strongly going against humanity that Islam stands as it guidance.
In a country where law works, Gumi’s activities with terrorists should’ve leads him to jail, but the system are not working—as it’s built on tribalism and nepotism. Let the Government wake up before it gets too late for control.
