U.S. President Donald Trump early Sunday warned Iran against carrying out further retaliatory attacks, saying the United States would respond with overwhelming force if Tehran follows through on its threats.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump wrote that Iran had vowed to strike “very hard today, harder than they have ever been hit before,” cautioning: “THEY BETTER NOT DO THAT, HOWEVER, BECAUSE IF THEY DO, WE WILL HIT THEM WITH A FORCE THAT HAS NEVER BEEN SEEN BEFORE!”

The warning followed a statement from Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), which earlier on Sunday announced plans to launch its “most-intense offensive operation,” beginning in “moments.”
The escalation comes amid dramatic developments in the region, including reports that Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, was killed Saturday in a targeted Israeli military strike. Iranian authorities have yet to issue a definitive public confirmation regarding his status.
Tensions between Washington and Tehran have sharply intensified following coordinated U.S.–Israeli military operations, raising fears of a broader regional confrontation as both sides signal readiness for further action.
