The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Youth Coordinator of the City Boy Movement, Sunday Shagi Jonah, on Tuesday attended a high-level stakeholders’ meeting of the movement in Abuja.

The strategic meeting was chaired by the Mandate Secretary of the Area Council Services Commission, Bitrus Lawrence Garki, and brought together key leaders of the City Boy Movement from across the Federal Capital Territory.

Discussions at the meeting centred on strengthening internal unity, improving coordination, and deepening cooperation among the leadership of the movement ahead of the 2027 general elections. Stakeholders also reviewed strategies aimed at consolidating grassroots structures across the six area councils of the FCT.

Speaking at the meeting, Hon. Jonah reaffirmed the commitment of the FCT youth structure to sustained mobilisation and grassroots engagement. He stressed the importance of synergy, discipline, and collective responsibility among members, noting that youth participation remains critical to achieving electoral success.

Participants further underscored the need for inclusiveness, effective planning, and broad-based youth involvement as key drivers for success in the coming election cycle.

The City Boy Movement reiterated its resolve to strengthen its political base across the FCT and work towards effective representation and progressive leadership for residents of the territory.
