A two-story building collapsed in Orile Iganmu, Lagos, on Monday morning, but fortunately, no casualties were reported. The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) confirmed the incident in a statement.
Mr. Nosa Okunbor, LASEMA’s Head of Public Affairs, shared that the collapse occurred at approximately 8:45 a.m. on Amusu Street near Baale Bus Stop. Emergency response teams were promptly dispatched to the site to conduct search and rescue operations.
“LASEMA Response Teams are actively engaged in the search and rescue efforts at the self-collapsed building on Amusu Street, Baale Bus Stop, Orile Iganmu,” Okunbor stated. “There are no reported casualties, and further updates will be provided.”
