The Edo State police command has apprehended a young woman and a man for their alleged roles in the abduction of a pastor.
Funsho Adegboye, the commissioner of police in Edo State, explained the incident in detail. According to Adegboye, the young woman deceived the pastor by pretending to be in urgent need of help. She tearfully claimed to be the wife of a church member and requested assistance. Trusting her story, the pastor opened his door to offer help.
As soon as the door was opened, the rest of the kidnapping gang stormed in, captured the pastor, and took him away.
