Fresh tension has gripped Ibwa in Gwagwalada Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory following reports of another violent attack in the community, with a resident left badly injured.
The development was brought to public attention through a Facebook post by a user identified as Rdst Hamxa Gabi, who shared photographs showing an injured man with blood covering his face and visible wounds around his head, chest and upper body.

The photographs, obtained by Chronicles Reporters from the Facebook publication, show the extent of the injuries sustained by the victim, raising fresh concerns over the security situation in the community.
According to the account accompanying the Facebook post, the incident occurred in Ibwa amid lingering tension between Gwari residents and members of the Fulani community.
However, Chronicles Reporters could not independently verify the identity of the alleged attackers or establish the precise circumstances surrounding the incident as of press time.
