The Civil Defence Correctional Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has announced the release of results for its recent nationwide recruitment examination into the Civil Defence, Fire Service, Immigration, and Correctional Service.
In a statement issued by the board, over 1.12 million applicants were confirmed to have successfully completed the examination without technical issues. However, 432,935 candidates were unable to finish the test due to various challenges encountered during the process, while 360,923 applicants were deemed ineligible to participate from the outset.
A breakdown of performance showed that 221,996 candidates scored between 0 and 40 marks, 229,155 scored between 41 and 60, while 278,543 candidates achieved scores between 61 and 80. Additionally, 108,142 candidates scored between 81 and 90, with only 34,555 applicants attaining scores between 91 and 100.
The board emphasised that only candidates with strong performance will be invited to proceed to the next stage of the recruitment exercise.
Applicants were advised to monitor official CDCFIB communication channels for updates regarding screening schedules and further instructions.
The board also urged candidates to confirm the specific agency they applied for during the recruitment process to ensure proper placement in the next phase.
