Daniel Nuhu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been declared the winner of the Kwali Area Council chairmanship election, securing a total of 17,032 votes. His closest rival, Haruna Pai of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), garnered 8,575 votes.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) confirmed the result after collating votes from all polling units in the council. The outcome reflects strong support for APC in the area, as residents turned out to cast their ballots peacefully.
