The Chairman of Gwagwalada Area Council, Hon. Mohammed Kasim, has called on journalists to uphold professionalism by reporting news objectively, free from political bias or personal affiliations.
The message was conveyed in a Facebook post shared by the Chairman’s Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Media-designate, Muhammad Isah Hassan, who stated that journalists should demonstrate their expertise by presenting stories fairly and accurately, without allowing political differences to influence their reportage.
According to the post, the chairman emphasized the importance of responsible journalism in promoting truth, accountability, and public confidence, urging media practitioners to remain committed to ethical standards while carrying out their duties.
