In a shocking development, Bala Tsoho Musa, the principal of the Abuja Rehabilitation Center, was found dead under suspicious circumstances on Friday night. Musa, also known as “comrade,” was discovered lifeless within the center’s premises in Kuchiko, Bwari Area Council, Abuja.
The grim discovery was made next to Musa’s wheelchair, leading investigators to suspect foul play. The center, managed by the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA), primarily serves as a skill acquisition facility for beggars and individuals detained for causing public disturbances.
Musa had been in charge of the center’s daily operations before his tragic demise. Sources revealed that his body showed signs of blunt force trauma, and a wooden object suspected to be the murder weapon was recovered nearby. Additionally, two of his mobile phones were reported missing, further deepening the mystery surrounding his death.
Reports indicate that the crime may have gone unnoticed initially, due to the noise from a power generator running at the facility. The alarm was only raised when a deaf female assistant, who works as a maid for the family, returned to the hostel and alerted others.
CSP Babayola Muhammad, the Divisional Police Officer of Bwari, confirmed the incident, but no further details have been disclosed as investigations continue. The brutal murder of Bala Tsoho Musa has left the community in shock, and authorities are working to identify the culprit and uncover the motive behind the attack.
