A new video has surfaced showing three Nigerian soldiers directly challenging Bello Turji Kachalla, a notorious bandit leader infamous for orchestrating numerous deadly attacks across northern Nigeria. The soldiers expressed their frustration over the lack of orders from their superiors to pursue Turji Kachalla. In response, they boldly invited the feared terrorist to leave his hideout and confront them face-to-face.
One of the soldiers stated, “Since they have refused to give us the order to come to where you are, come out from your hideout and let us face each other and see what will happen.” They called on Turji to prove his bravery, saying, “Bello Turji, if you think you are man enough and believe you are truly your mother’s son, come out and let’s face each other.”
The soldiers condemned Turji’s criminal activities, pleading, “For Allah’s sake, stop kidnapping and killing civilians; they are innocent.”
Reflecting on their past achievements, the soldiers highlighted their previous success against Boko Haram in Maiduguri, Borno State, asserting that they are now even more equipped and prepared. “Before now, we didn’t know what a soldier or a gun was, and we eliminated Boko Haram in Maiduguri, let alone now that we are soldiers and know what a gun is. In fact, Bello Turji, you are mad,” one soldier said.
They issued a final challenge to Turji, emphasizing that both sides have weapons, and urged him to abandon his attacks on civilians and face them directly. “You have a gun, and we (soldiers) have guns too. Come out from your hideout and let’s face each other,” they declared.
