Controversial rapper Eedris Abdulkareem has sharply criticized Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, in his new single “Emilokan.” In a verse, Abdulkareem accuses Pastor Adeboye of hypocrisy, noting that he protested against bad governance during former President Goodluck Jonathan’s regime but now claims “Nigeria has spiritual problems” under President Tinubu.

Abdulkareem urges the clergyman to stage a one-million-man protest against Tinubu’s government, similar to his actions during Jonathan’s tenure. The veteran musician asserts it is time for Pastor Adeboye to speak truth to power.

“Where is our daddy, Pastor Adeboye? During Goodluck Jonathan’s regime, your voice was so loud. You even vowed to stage a one-million-man march. Hunger and hardship under Tinubu’s government, and you say Nigeria has spiritual problems,” he raps. “Baba, we need your one million disciples to protest against President Tinubu’s government just the way you protested against President Jonathan. Daddy, are your disciples’ legs hurting?”

“This is indeed very big hypocrisy. It’s time for you to speak the truth to power because hunger is killing Nigerians.”
