In an outstanding display of academic excellence, Ugwoezuonu Ogechi Zara, a young pupil from Enugu, has been awarded a ₦21 million scholarship following her remarkable performance in a recent mathematics competition. Ogechi achieved a flawless score of 100% in the primary category of the National Mathematics Competition, which is organized by the Mathematics Association of Nigeria (MAN).

The announcement of the scholarship was made by Alex Onyia, an education activist and Chief Executive Officer of Educare. He shared the news on his X account, expressing great joy in Zara’s exceptional achievement. Onyia stated, “Ugwoezuonu Ogechi Zara scored a perfect score of 100% in the primary category of the National Mathematics Competition organised by the Mathematics Association of Nigeria (MAN).”

Due to her impressive accomplishment, Zara has been granted a full six-year scholarship to attend Evergreen College in Enugu. Onyia further elaborated, “She has been awarded a full scholarship worth ₦21 million to study for six years at Evergreen College, Enugu.”

The National Mathematics Competition, held annually by MAN, is known for being a highly competitive event that draws the brightest young talents from across Nigeria. Zara’s perfect score and subsequent scholarship highlight her extraordinary talent and potential in mathematics.
