She was still in disbelief that she had been on a police bus heading to Badagry to track down the new driver who had stolen her car on his very first day of work. The police had finally located and apprehended the suspect the night before. It was absolutely mind-boggling that this individual had the audacity to take the stolen vehicle to church and even give a testimony, claiming God had blessed him with a brand new car.

What was even more distressing was that her laptop had been inside the car when it was taken. She had been understandably distraught at first, but in the end, the laptop had actually helped the authorities track down the perpetrator, since she didn’t have a car tracking system installed. To add insult to injury, she discovered that the thief had sold her brand new MacBook Pro in the Alaba market for a mere 100,000 naira. Despite this upsetting turn of events, she was truly grateful to God that she was able to recover both her car and laptop intact, just as she had left them.

She was enormously appreciative of the Tactical Team C from the Surulere police station for their exemplary professionalism, efficiency, reassurance, and sharp investigative skills throughout the ordeal. She was incredibly impressed by their expeditious work and superior training. It was truly a miracle that every single item in her car, including her bags and the untouched laptop, was recovered unharmed. She could only attribute this to God’s unwavering kindness and grace.

She was thankful to everyone who had reached out to check on her and offered their prayers during this challenging time. The past 36 hours had been nothing short of harrowing, but as always, she remained grateful to God for His constant love and protection. Honestly, the whole situation sounded like it could be straight out of a comedic skit, but it was a testament to the fact that God truly does look after us, even in the most trying circumstances in Nigeria.
