King Behanzin Of Dahomey Kingdom (Benin Republic) Fought Against French Colonialism. He was betrayed by people in his Royal Court. He was defeated in 1894 and exiled to Martinique Island.
He died in Algeria in 1906.
His motto was “the angry shark will terrorise his enemy”.
