Members of the Special Weapons and Tactics Team (SWAT) of the Nigeria Police Force have apprehended Adejare Adegbenro, the Director-General of the National Commission against the Proliferation of Arms, Light Weapons and Pipeline Vandalism (NATCOM), for alleged fraudulent activities, according to SaharaReporters.

The National Centre for the Control of Small Arms and Light Weapons (NCCSALW), the recognized government institution tasked with controlling the proliferation of illicit small arms and light weapons in Nigeria, warned about the dangers posed by NATCOM and similar fraudulent groups.
