The Force Headquarters has taken decisive action by dismissing two police officers caught fighting in a viral video on the streets of Edo State. According to the Force Public Relations Officer, ACP Muyiwa Adejobi, the Nigeria Police Force was apprised of the video depicting a street altercation involving Corporal Ozimaede Aidonojie and Police Constable Salubi Stephen, both stationed at the Ebele Divisional Police Headquarters in Edo State.

After a thorough investigation, it was confirmed that the incident occurred in 2020, and the behavior exhibited by the officers was deemed unacceptable for law enforcement personnel entrusted with maintaining order. Consequently, both officers have been dismissed from the Force, as communicated through an official police wireless signal dated April 24, 2020.

The Nigeria Police Force strongly condemns such actions and reaffirms its commitment to upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity among its personnel. The public is encouraged to continue collaborating with the Force to promote accountability, transparency, and a safe environment for all.
