Tragedy struck at Studio 6 of B4 Highrise Building in 1004 Estate on Wednesday night after a woman reportedly fell from the sixth floor of the building and later died from severe injuries sustained during the incident.
According to an incident report made available to Chronicles Reporters, the incident occurred at about 9:50pm on May 6, 2026, when residents and security officials raised alarm after the lady reportedly plunged from the window of the apartment and landed on the canopy located in front of the B4 reception hall.
Sources disclosed that the victim suffered serious head injuries and was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for emergency treatment. However, medical personnel later confirmed her dead on arrival.
Preliminary findings revealed that the occupant of the apartment, whose actual identity is yet to be officially confirmed but who is being tentatively identified as an Egyptian national, had allegedly brought the deceased into his apartment as a guest several days earlier.
Investigators gathered that the lady had reportedly stayed with the suspect in the apartment for over three days before tensions escalated between both parties. Witness accounts and early investigation suggest that a heated argument broke out inside the apartment shortly before the victim allegedly fell from the sixth floor under suspicious circumstances.
Security operatives at the estate quickly intervened and the suspect was subsequently arrested and transferred to Bar Beach Police Station for further interrogation and investigation.
The Divisional Police Officer, CSP Ishola Olaitan, reportedly led a team of investigators to the estate shortly after the incident to inspect the scene, interview witnesses, and gather preliminary evidence surrounding the tragic development.
Authorities say investigations are ongoing and further updates will be communicated as more facts emerge regarding the circumstances that led to the lady’s death.
