He emphasized that despite the numerous challenges currently facing the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), including pressures on members to decamp to other political parties, the people must remain steadfast and resolute in their support for Senator Dr. Patrick Abba Moro’s re-election.
He called on PDP members to stand firm, remain loyal, and continue to support the Senator and Minority Leader of the 10th Senate, noting that unity and commitment are crucial if the party must win elections at this critical time.
In a similar vein, Barrister Edward Omaga admonished party members to remain united and resilient in the face of challenges. He extolled the kindness, leadership qualities, and people-oriented disposition of Senator Dr. Patrick Abba Moro, urging members to rally behind him.
Speaking at the event, the Chairman of Okpoga North Ward, Hon. Emmanuel Audu pledged to continue working towards uniting party members at the Ward and Polling Unit levels to ensure the successful re-election of Senator Abba Moro in 2027.
Also speaking, Hon. Godwin Onah, being a former Councillor from the Ward and now PDP Organizing Secretary at Okpokwu Local Government level, encouraged members to join support groups in their various Polling Units. According to him, this would give members a sense of belonging whilst enabling them to benefit more from political activities.
