This development follows earlier reports by Chronicles Reporters detailing widespread cases of forgery, falsification of records, and violations of service rules within the police force.
Sources have also disclosed that, aside from these 467 officers, many more were implicated in the scandal. Some of those involved opted to retire quietly to avoid public scrutiny.
