LAGOS, DECEMBER 8 โ€“ Chronicles Reporter brings you the story of Miss Onos Roman, a Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka student, who has been released by her abductors following the payment of a N1 million ransom.

Her elder sister, Ese, shared the news with our correspondent via WhatsApp on Saturday, stating that her sister was freed on Friday afternoon after the ransom was paid.

According to Ese, Onos has reunited with her family and is in good health. The incident, however, left the family shaken.

Miss Onos was reportedly abducted in Abraka on Thursday. During her ordeal, the kidnappers stripped her of her clothing and used her mobile phone to call her family, demanding the ransom. They issued a stern warning that the payment must be made before 1:00 p.m. on Friday, the same day she was ultimately freed.
