Mr. President, I know how well you had made averments to love Nigeria Students even to the extent of granting a bag of rice to each Student Union Presidents as though one bag of rice is all what they need to transcend their institution’s hurdles.
The first instance, I’m going to cite is the increment in telecom tariff. We all are aware the benefits of telecommunication, the social benefits, economic benefits, educational benefits, the healthcare benefits and environmental benefits. A conspicuous survey at the percentage of the society that will be most impacted by this inhumane resolution is largely the Nigeria Students.
Am I to talk about the underdevelopment in which most Nigeria Universities are experiencing? most buildings in our institutions today are nothing to write about, facilities to aid the smooth academic progress are outdated and limited.
I will also like to bring your attention to the plague that most of Nigeria Students had fallen victim of, which is, the increment of school fees in most Nigeria Universities and this had abort the fertility of their future because of the inability to meet up with the financial demand of one of our rights but which had been manipulated to become privilege.
Mr. President, I will like to inform you that Nigeria Students will be pleased, if your administration will be devoted on their growth into the future they desire, by making education accessible to all rather than sharing bags of rice to the Student Union Presidents, as this can just been seen as frivolous act.
