I came across a news this morning from yesterday White House’s Dinner that “The Saudi Arabia Crown Prince—Muhammad Bin Salma had promised to invest a whopping some of $600 Billion/1 Trillion into the U.S. economy” making me questioning why Islamic states in Africa remain this poor, upon our dedications in practicing the religion originated from the Middle East if truly religion is that important.
Imagine same Islamic power houses from the middle east will come to Africa and build countless of mosques as their investments because, all that Africa Muslims, most especially “Nigerians” needs is heaven and had signed poverty deals on earth.
It’s high time we all wake up to this early reality and understand the fact that, these people never wants our progress as a black nation regardless of our religious practices—rather they enjoyed on our current predicaments with insecurities inflicted on us, while distance themselves with a fight against terrorism to bring an end to our long terms crises.
To my little understanding as a devoted Muslim “Islam is a religion of peace and compassion, as it was boldly written in the Holy Quran” whose worshipers should be seen as an ambassador of peace, and imbibes in the spirits of togetherness, tolerance and love. If anyone found practicing anything other than what i mentioned above, against the peace of the people, i advice to kindly judge their origins and roots, not the religion itself.
The islamic and Christianity religion they practiced in other continents is different from what they introduced to an average uneducated African worshippers, most especially Northern Nigerians.
Africans built empires on wisdom, justice, and truth—yet religion became the weapon that broke us. Our spirituality was stolen, repackaged, and used to enslave our minds.
