The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has apprehended four Chinese nationals alongside 101 Nigerians in connection with suspected internet fraud. The operation took place on Thursday, January 9, 2025, in a business apartment located in the Gudu area of Abuja.
Among the arrested individuals, 67 are males (including the four Chinese nationals) and 38 are females. They are believed to be involved in a fraudulent scheme that revolves around a hotel review scam, which targets victims and hotels across Europe and other regions globally.
