Nollywood actress Mercy Aigbe has received an outpouring of support and sympathies after her home was gutted by fire. The actress took to Instagram late Wednesday to share an emotional video showcasing the extensive damage caused by the blaze.
In her post, Mercy Aigbe expressed gratitude that no lives were lost during the tragic incident. Captioning the video of her burnt house, she wrote: “Devastated! Thank God no life was lost. It is well.”
Fellow actress Iyabo Ojo offered her condolences to Aigbe and her husband, Kazim Adeoti, in a heartfelt message posted on Instagram. She wrote:
“My dear friend @realmercyaigbe & my humble brother @kazimadeoti, I’m deeply sorry to hear about the devastating loss of your home. My heart goes out to you both during this challenging time.
“Please know that God is with you, and He will help you rebuild and create something even more beautiful. This loss is not the end but a new beginning. I’m grateful that no lives were lost, and with that, there’s hope for a brighter future. Stay strong, my dear friends, and know that I’m here for you. Sending you love, sympathy, and support during this difficult time.”
Fans and colleagues from across the entertainment industry have also expressed their relief that no lives were lost while pledging their support. Many have extended words of encouragement to the actress, assuring her of brighter days ahead.
As of the time of this report, Mercy Aigbe has not revealed the cause of the fire.
