The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) has confirmed that there were no casualties in the collapse of a two-story building in Orile Iganmu on Monday morning.
Mr. Nosa Okunbor, LASEMA’s Head of Public Affairs, provided details in a statement, noting that the incident occurred around 8:45 a.m. at a location on Amusu Street, near Baale Bus Stop.
In response to the collapse, LASEMA’s Response Teams were swiftly deployed to conduct search and rescue operations at the site.
“The LASEMA Response Teams are currently engaged in operations at the collapsed building on Amusu Street, Baale Bus Stop, Orile Iganmu. There have been no reported casualties, and further updates will be provided,” he stated.
