Controversial Nigerian crossdresser, Okuneye Idris, better known as Bobrisky, was rushed to the hospital after complaining of severe “breast” pain while being held at the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) Annex in Alagbon, Lagos.

Bobrisky had been detained overnight in a police cell before being taken to Falomo Police Hospital for urgent medical attention. Sources from the FCID confirmed to Vanguard that Bobrisky was moved to the hospital at about 2:00 p.m. in a police ambulance.

The source disclosed, “Bobrisky complained of ‘breast’ pain and was rushed to the Police Hospital in the Falomo area of Lagos. He was transported in an ambulance with the plate number LND 339L, wearing a black gown and covering his face with a shawl.”

This discreet hospital trip was reportedly arranged to avoid public scrutiny, as Bobrisky was initially set to be transferred to the Special Fraud Unit (SFU). Authorities chose a police ambulance with a modified plate number, LLD 339LP, to minimize attention, but his medical condition took priority over the planned transfer to SFU.

According to sources, Bobrisky’s complaint came shortly after the Commissioner of Police overseeing the transfer process had visited the command. The situation has drawn widespread attention, with many focusing on Bobrisky’s ongoing legal challenges.

Earlier, SaharaReporters revealed that Bobrisky had been arrested while allegedly attempting to flee to the Benin Republic. The Nigerian Immigration Service confirmed his arrest at the Seme-Nigerian border during a passport check.

This arrest occurred just hours before Bobrisky was expected to appear before a Senate panel investigating allegations against him. Reports suggest that he may have been trying to evade the questioning scheduled by the Senate.
