The administration of President Bola Tinubu has reportedly charged ten #EndBadGovernance protesters with treason, a severe offense under Nigerian law that carries the death penalty.
According to a court document obtained by West Africa Weekly, the case is filed under number FHC/ABJ/CR/454/2024. The charges against these individuals stem from their involvement in protests that were part of the broader #EndBadGovernance movement.
The ten protesters who have been named in the charges are:

- Suleiman Yakubu
- Opaluwa Eleojo Simon
- Angel Love Innocent
- Buhari Lawal
