Since August 2024, Tinubu has been on the offensive. He said he bought, he owns and rightfully he is to be king of Nigeria for eight years. However, the grouse of his subjects is that his ruling policies is capable of ruining the nation decades after he has gone cold only to be kept warm by worms. An example of such decades long policy mishap is the Structural Adjustment Program.
As a result of this class conflict between King Tinubu and his subjects, he has become like a slithering rattlesnake who owns a China shop and must keep the raging bulls of opposition (who threaten his delicate wares) in check.
So, his venomous fangs (all security apparatuses) have been busy. His (not ours) DSS and his police have been in overdrive working around the clock to keep the raging bulls away from Tinubu’s China shop. His executive arm is not by itself strong enough to do the harm. He has corralled all other organs, livers and kidneys of our State into his treasonous conspiracy against our commonwealth.
A total State Capture where “Senators” were singing Tinubu’s political anthem – “On Your Mandate We Shall Stand” in what is supposed to be a hallowed but has been reduced to a hollow chamber.
The judiciousness of our judiciary is in now in the junkyard. Lady Justice’s blindfold is now used by Tinubu to blindfold kidnapped critics. Her scale is now used as a booty scale by looters and she now has two swords in her hands to go after the dissenting bulls and his subjects. “A TOTAL STATE CAPTURE”;
Our Republic is now a kingdom. Our president is now an Imperial Majesty and Grand Commander of Federal Kingdom of Nigeria
In the face of all these, one Man, stands tall, peerless and fearless in the heat of Tinubu’s venomous offensive. He is Omoyele Sowore! His traducers, mere mortals dared him to come home but he chose to dare their father, the devil instead.
He arrived, detained but released within the twinkle of an eye thanks to the massive presence of Nigerians at the airport who were aware of the Arrest On Arrival order and mobilized to counter tinubu’s offensive against the rights of Nigerians to protest without fear of being smeared with terrorism.
The victory is proof that the oppressed have nothing to lose but our fears and we have our freedom to win.
However symbolic the victory is, we cannot afford to be hyperbolic about our gains. A battle is won but the war rages. The war to crush the head of the rattlesnake. The rattlesnake of economic terrorism, the rattlesnake of political feudalism and banditry, the rattlesnake of corruption etcetera.
The rattlesnake may recoil but as long as it breathes, we are in danger. We must not only defang this snake, we must crush its head. How? You ask!
We need many more Sowore’s. An hydra headed movement flying the flags of freedom on all fronts. Only in this strategic duplicity and tactical redundancy is victory assured. A revolution with one head is vulnerable to being beheaded or betrayed.
All progressive fronts, all men and women have a duty to rally not just around Sowore, but around this just cause to liberate our country from this class of rattlesnakes!
And finally, we must begin to dismantle Tinubu’s China shop by loosening his grip on the captured Nigerian State. Offseason elections in Edo and Ondo present opportunities for protest votes against the parties of the ruling class that has robbed and rapped our country for so long.
The AFRICAN ACTION CONGRESS remain a viable alternative to rescue us from this class of political rattlesnakes!
