The Kano State Fire Service has confirmed the discovery of two lifeless bodies in separate incidents across the city. According to the service’s spokesperson, Saminu Yusif Abdullahi, the first report came in at 7:58 p.m. from Muhammad Sambo, Director of Administration and General Services at the Ministry of Women Affairs. Sambo reported seeing the body of a man, approximately 31 years old, lying by the roadside on Airport Road.

“Our team transported the deceased to Mallam Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital (AKTH) and handed the body over to police officer Usman Lawan from Noman’s Land Police Division,” Abdullahi stated.

In a related incident, Abdullahi noted that the Fire Service received another call from Jamilu Aliyu, who reported spotting a boy, around 15 years old, in a well along BUK Road, behind the MTD Police Division.

“Our team arrived at the scene at 4:38 p.m. The boy was rescued but found unconscious and was later confirmed dead. We handed his body over to Inspector Nura Abdullahi of Kwalli Police Division,” he added.
