Revolutionary Report to the Public:

Citizens of Gwagwalada,

Today, we stand united in outrage and indignation at the utter neglect and im disregard shown by our leaders towards our basic rights and safety. It is with a heavy heart and a sense of urgency that I bring to your attention the dire state of our roads, particularly the Gwagwalada market road—a pathway so crucial yet so neglected that it has become a death trap for our community.

I witnessed with my own eyes the plea made by Dobiza Dobiza on Facebook, begging for financial support to repair the very ji road that the Gwagwalada Area Council profits from, while conveniently ignoring its upkeep. This road, which should be a lifeline for our commerce and daily livelihoods, has been forsaken to the point where it endangers every soul that travels upon it.

Even more alarming is the fact that the Secretary to the Chairman himself traverses this treacherous route daily, yet the Council continues to turn a blind eye. The alternative route via Kutunku, burdened beyond capacity, has also become a scene of terror and danger, with accidents and near-misses a daily occurrence near the abbatoir gate. Our pleas, our letters, and our petitions to the Council and our representatives have fallen on deaf ears, yielding no tangible results.

It is a bitter irony that while our leaders lavish attention on personal projects and private interests, such as the Chairman’s hotel construction and his residential roads, the people of Gwagwalada are left to fend for themselves in the face of crumbling infrastructure and imminent peril.

Therefore, I stand before you today to declare a vote of no confidence in Abubakar Giri and his administration. The time for complacency and inaction has passed. We demand accountability, transparency, and immediate action to rectify the neglect that has plagued our community for far too long.

Let our voices ring out as one: enough is enough. We deserve better, and we will no longer tolerate the betrayal of our trust and the endangerment of our lives.

Together, let us rise and reclaim our rights, our safety, and our dignity as citizens of Gwagwalada.

In solidarity,

Comrade Rhyne Manasseh
