The Federal Capital Territory Police (FCT) Command is currently probing the death of Kadoon Lornumbe, whose lifeless body was discovered near the Mpape Junction in Abuja. FCT Police Spokesperson, Josephine Adeh, confirmed this development on Friday.

This revelation came after an incident report shared by a user @Arike_Jane, who posted a photo of the deceased, urging anyone with relevant information to come forward or contact the police.

Adeh stated that the Mabushi Division transported the body to the hospital on Thursday and emphasized that the victim’s identity is yet to be established, indicating ongoing investigations.

Investigations by our reporters revealed that the deceased, identified as Kadoon Louisa Lornumbe on Facebook, hails from Benue State. She graduated from university in 2018 and completed her National Youth Service Scheme in 2020.

According to reactions on X and Facebook, Lornumbe was allegedly kidnapped, and a ransom was demanded, but her captors eventually killed her. Further scrutiny of the responses indicated that she was from Benue State and was purportedly abducted before her demise.

The post garnered diverse reactions from Nigerians, with many speculating that her death might be linked to daylight robbery, commonly referred to as ‘One Chance’.
