The Nigeria Police Force has taken decisive action by dismissing Inspector Adabo Mohammed for his involvement in a robbery gang that robbed a victim of N29.8 million in Abuja. According to Force Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi, the Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, has reiterated the force’s zero-tolerance policy towards any form of indiscipline, emphasizing the importance of upholding professionalism and integrity.

As part of this commitment, cases reported against personnel have been thoroughly investigated, resulting in appropriate sanctions. In this particular case, Inspector Adabo Mohammed was dismissed for criminal conspiracy, armed robbery/kidnapping, and corrupt practices. Alongside five others, he was part of an armed robbery gang responsible for the robbery in Gwagwalada, FCT, as well as the kidnapping of Ikechukwu Emmanuel Okafor in Tunga Manje and the collection of a ransom of N4.4 million. The dismissed officer has been charged to court accordingly.
