He recalled a past conversation where he encouraged Adeleke to continue dancing but urged him to prioritize governance alongside it.
Obasanjo emphasized the importance of honesty, integrity, and hard work, urging Adeleke to be known as a man of character despite his dancing persona.
He commended Adeleke for his developmental efforts in Osun, particularly in infrastructure projects like road construction, which he viewed as essential for job creation and economic growth.
In response, Adeleke affirmed his commitment to completing ongoing projects for the benefit of the people, emphasizing that public infrastructure should transcend political affiliations for the common good.
