The Afrobeats sensation, known for her hit track ‘Kele Kele Love’, revealed that she hired an IT specialist to erase the explicit video from the internet and all mobile devices after it was utilized in an extortion attempt against her.
Tiwa Savage’s personal ordeal began in October 2021 when she first disclosed being blackmailed with the sex tape, which was recorded with a person she was romantically involved with at the time. The incident had profound consequences, including the loss of various ambassadorial positions.
“My greatest concern about the leakage of my sex tape was the possibility that my son might one day come across it,” Tiwa Savage expressed. “But I enlisted the help of an IT expert who removed the video from the internet and everyone’s mobile devices. Currently, it’s nowhere to be found. Even if you had previously stored it on your phone.”
