Saying yes is not enough but acting yes. Unanimously, kogites have endorsed the candidature of Muri Ajaka under the platform of SDP but a synchrony between the party chieftains and the traditional stools in Kogi state especially kogi East to organize the synergies of the youths to reclaim victory becomes unarguably necessary.

We shouldn’t affirm a rhetorical victory undermining the reality of Nigerian Politics where the executive in a state functions in the capacity of a demigod. We saw the audacity of the executive during the APC primaries, we saw the leveraging on state powers to perpetrate a dastardly act yet the verdict of the supreme court was shrugged aside. WHAT AN AUDACITY! Remember politics is a game and it takes clear thinkers to take the trophy home.

While I applaud the enthusiasm of the youths for their pragmatism and been optimistic I equally wish to state unequivocally that both a centripetal and centrifugal force together with the right merger will be more rewarding at a time like this rather than the haphazard Brownian motions displayed to maintain a positive vibes. Remember, the hullabaloos during the presidential elections to endorse OBI couldn’t change the political arithmetics.

The timely question to ask is; how do we make Muri Ajaka of SDP the subject of the formula among other party aspirants. How do we find X and make X equal SPD while maintaining Muri Ajaka constant under the present political atmosphere.

Such political permutations is beyond the unschooled to unravel, it takes the politically sophisticated and enlightened to solve this riddles, the next question is; who are the politically enlightened and sophisticated? The noise of the ordinary man on the street is nothing but mere publicity but it takes party structure and structures amongst the people to prevail.

Have we witnessed any camping and decamping, is the whatever agenda just a “chorus song agenda” like the morale songs to keep hope alive song by the army matching to the battlefield. We need direction, the internal greed of an average igala man is already a threat to the victory songs. E.g Makama and his likes.

The youths have their place in politics and I most applaud the youths for exhibiting their youthful exuberance but the silence of the elders in terms of activities and in-activities calls for a huge concern. Think deeply is just a word of caution.

I leave you to think about this. Good evening Nigerians and Kogites.
