When it comes to politics of ethnicity, I am trapped in between, I can’t disqualify a governorship aspirant on the premise of tribe. Ebiras are wonderful people, infact the reliable friends I have are Ebiras.
Ebiras, know and understand the values of friendship, they are very respectable and can be united against divisive tendencies.
Every tribe have their bad eggs, it will be sheer injustice to generalize the sin of one on all. It’s human to seek ones aggrandizement but it becomes evil when the propelling force is greed.
Power corrupt and absolute power corrupt absolutely, now the minorities have secured a space to feast at the tables with varieties of sumptuous meals and you think power will easily slip off their hands without a struggle. Come on now, stop been a joker, can you see the dangers of excessive forcing balls of OJEH ABACHA down the oesophagus. It is capable of repositioning the brain from its normal position.
They have given testimonies and collectively said thank you Jesus and Allah for pulling them out of the place of scratching pots for remnants and suddenly a voice is saying, your time at the table is over and you expect someone who is now used to wine to return to drinking zobo, who will feast like a king and desire to eat like a beggar. Power corrupt and absolute power corrupt absolutely. This is the game of politics within the African context.
I believe what we should be looking at the moment is the collective good of the state as one people because it’s improper to lay claims on a house belonging to all. Kogi state belongs to all of us irrespective of ethnic difference.
I love my people the igalas and am ready to promote a candidate that is not coming to repeat the circles of previous styles of ossified leadership pattern.
My hot displeasures against the APC government of Kogi is their myopic conceptualization of leadership, they are political amateurs dangerously confidence in the local sense of the word to seat where they should be standing.
They think Politics is about the encomiums showered on them, they think Politics is the showmanship of affluence and opulence, they think Politics is about fashion parade to be admired and cheered by all, they think Politics is been escorted around with endless ques of convoys and mammoth crowds following behind while you are waving at them. What a local champion understanding of politics. You see why your state hasn’t developed because it has been reduced to an I.T center for political amateurs to test run their leadership prowess.
It is time to present a leader that is visionary, Ododo is just a season two of the white lion’s episode, he is a light weight political toddler that should be in the kindergartens of political class training to emerge a leader some days but for now, he is just a season two like I have pointed earlier.
Too much of loyalty that suspend sense is equal stupidity, the fashionista that was given an upper cut in the heavy weight champion in anticipation to raise the belt of endorsement as the next governor of Kogi understands this theory now.
The loyalty that should be reserved for Allah and Allah alone is the same loyalty that Ododo has for Adoza and that makes it a potential danger because ododo seizes to be Ododo by virtue of an unscriptural loyalty to becoming a robot to be controlled by Adoza which means, extension of endless rule and the emergence of a political godfather.
Kogi state shouldn’t graduate into what others are graduating out from. We shouldn’t play Politics locally as usual, therefore, the fight ahead is not about the tribe that will emerge but the quality of individuals to be promoted to the corridors of power.
An igala agenda should become an agenda of the heart not the noise on social media, it should be a strategy for the return of power not the senseless manifestations of unguided enthusiasm.
Good morning Nigerians and Kogites.
