The cumulative factors bedeviling Northern Nigeria, summarily is bad leadership, a leadership that exult the ignoramus and decimate the enlightened, a leadership that is haphazard and uncoordinated seeking to gratify self.

In a dispensation of rapid civilization, it is hazardous to elect someone ossified and behind civilization to paddle the wheel of political progress.

Kogi state like Northern Nigeria, elevates primitivism and the politics of sheer greed. This explains the colossal and continual stagnation of the state despite enormous human and natural resources.

Is Kogi state a model to other states in Nigeria, in terms of infrastructure and good governance? If no, what forms the basic motivation of Yayaha Bello as the peoples choice come 2023.

Should Nigerians set the pace for a political amateur lacking the capacity to coordinate a state to represent National interest at the villa come 2023, I think it is a colossal disaster.

The reality in Kogi state today is hunger and absolute poverty, the voices of unionism has been silent by vehement opposition of a government with no regard for democracy, unleashing political dogs of thuggery to resist protest of any kind. Yet we applaud a government lacking checks and balances. What a scam.

Coming down to my local government (Ankpa) we had a representative government by appointment during the days of extreme looting by this administration when they woefully refused local government elections. The result from the caretakers appointed is nothing but monuments of thuggery and political bastard.

Today, these bunch of criminals seeks the mandate of the people for representative governance at both the state house of assembly and representative. They return home shamelessly in royal attires and Agbadas, to further impoverish the people they claim to represent.

They hire musicians to exaggerate their personalities in other to make them popular, they attempt to psycho-condition traditional rulers with peanuts to become their voices among the people. What a shame.

In a literate dispensation, it is suicidal for an illiterate to govern a civilized people. We want a voice that is unbiased, we want a voice that is fearless and audacious not a local champion within an enclave of a people that are primitive and unsophisticated.

We want a leader we can be proud of not someone that is capable of disgracing the represented. Fellow Nigerians, election is by the corner, our focus should be credibility and the antecedence of candidates not party and affiliation to incumbency.

It is time to restore our pride and dignity as a people, it is time to say no to the politics of religion, party affiliation and ethnicity. It is time for Nigeria to rise to its full potentials as the giant of Africa.

It is time to get it right again. We must not allow the ignoramus to collectively run the affairs of the country, it is time to challenge the status quo, it is time we bring about a paradigm shift in our game politics to salvage the future for our children.
