In the early evening following the polling collation at UBE Primary School in Kutunku, Manasseh, the coordinator of the Abuja Take It Back Movement and community organizer for the African Action Congress Abuja chapter, was violently attacked at 360 Plaza, Jeremiah Useni Junction, New Kutunku, Gwagwalada.

Eyewitnesses report that Robert and Christian confronted Manasseh, demanding a share of election funds they falsely claimed had been given to him. Manasseh clarified that his political party does not distribute money and that they were not party members. Christian, who claimed to work for the party without an INEC polling unit agent tag, then slapped Manasseh. Robert, an expelled party member since 2019 for moral misconduct and violence, along with about five accomplices, proceeded to beat Manasseh, disarm him of his belongings, and tear his clothes.

The attackers stole two of Manassehโ€™s phones (an Itel and a Camon 12 Pro), a power bank, and a Rolex wristwatch. Armed with cutlasses and axes, they forced Manasseh to flee. Witnesses reported that Manasseh sustained injuries during the assault. As of this report, Manasseh is en route to the police station to file a complaint.
